Powerful, versatile and designed for outdoor and everyday use, the BAYU LED Torch delivers up to 1600 lumens of illumination from its 10W LED. Telescopic focusing allows the beam to be adjusted for different situations, while multiple lighting modes provide white, warm and combined light along with SOS and flashing functions. Technical notes
1600 lumens and the 500 m throw are supplier measurements at full brightness on a fully charged battery, with the beam focused. Output falls as the battery discharges and when the thermal protection steps in.

How to use
- Dock a battery. Slide a BAYU battery module onto the base until the contacts seat. This is an attachment module — it needs a BAYU battery (sold separately) or the 5 m 12 V vehicle power cable to run.
- Cycle the modes. Press the switch to step through high, medium and low, then strobe and SOS.
- Focus the beam. Slide the head out to narrow the beam to a spot — focused, it throws up to 500 m. Slide it back for a wide flood at camp.
- Mount it. There's a 1/4-inch thread in the base for a tripod or clamp when you need it hands-free.
- If it dims or cuts. It protects itself between 60 °C and 70 °C and recovers on its own once it cools. Nothing is wrong.

Safety and care
- The head gets warm on high. That's normal; it cuts out between 60 °C and 70 °C and recovers by itself.
- Don't look into the beam, and don't leave it focused on anything flammable at close range.
- Cleaning. Wipe the housing with a dry or barely damp cloth. No solvents.
- Warranty. Two years, replacement. If it fails inside that window it's replaced, not repaired.
